Editorial standards
Short version: we verify, we attribute, we label, and we correct.
Accuracy and sourcing
We prefer primary sources: government and authority announcements, official organisers, the venues and companies themselves, press releases and direct conversations. Every story shows where it comes from: Reported by The Dubai Radar, From an official announcement, or Reported elsewhere with a link to the original. If we can't verify something, we don't present it as fact.
Originality
We aggregate information, we don't republish articles. We write our own summaries, quote briefly where needed, and link clearly to original reporting. We don't invent quotes, events, openings or statistics.
Independence and commercial content
Sponsored material is always labelled as Sponsored, Partner content, Presented by or Paid placement, on the page and in listings. Commercial partners never appear inside independent editorial picks, and a paid placement is never dressed up as a recommendation. Editors decide what we cover; advertisers do not.
Ratings and reviews
We don't publish star ratings or reader reviews. We describe places, say what they're known for, and leave the verdict to you.
Updates and corrections
Information that changes (dates, prices, opening hours, rules) carries a visible Updated stamp. When we get something wrong we fix it and say so. How to report a correction.
Submissions
Anyone can submit an event, an opening or a story. An editor reviews every submission; nothing is published automatically.
